By invitation of the interior store DOEN, Berry Dijkstra has created a furniture installation with work by more than 18 designers from the Netherlands, Belgium, and France.
Berry selected works from various disciplines for the furniture installation: dream-like textile works by Sandra Planken Noun and Nicky Vollebregt, ceramics by Atelier FIG and Rutger de Regt, glassware by Nienke Sikkema and Inderjeet Sandhu. Various aluminum and steel furniture by Arne Desmet, Pierre Salaun, and Frank Penders, contrasted with wooden furniture by Structural Aspect, Teun Zwets, and Thijmen van der Steen. Berry combined 3D-printed vases by Amina Zemouli with hand-sculpted vases by Maya Eline Leroy & Fabian Briels. The minimalist cabinet by Jord Lindelauf is in dialogue with the sculptural works by Kapser Boelens and Nadja Schenkler, accompanied by foam lamps by Sven Jansse.
The designers' work forms a tactile installation more than 4 meters high. It is an interplay of form, color, and materiality, within which each object is distinct and reinforces the others.
